Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of HunterVault, a breach intelligence platform operated by HunterLabs Solutions, Inc. ("HunterLabs," "we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using HunterVault, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the service.

1. Eligibility

HunterVault is an invite-only platform. Access requires an administrator-issued invitation. By accepting an invitation and creating an account, you represent that:

• You are at least 18 years of age
• You have the legal authority to enter into these Terms on behalf of yourself or the organisation you represent
• Your use of HunterVault will comply with all applicable laws and regulations

2. Authorised Use

HunterVault is a defensive breach intelligence platform. It is intended exclusively for:

• Monitoring assets (email addresses, domains, usernames, etc.) that you own or have explicit authorisation to monitor
• Identifying whether your organisation's data appears in known breach datasets
• Supporting authorised security assessments, incident response, and threat intelligence operations
• Personal security hygiene for your own digital identifiers

Prohibited uses include, but are not limited to:

• Monitoring or querying assets belonging to third parties without their consent
• Stalking, harassment, doxing, or surveillance of individuals
• Facilitating unauthorised access to systems or accounts
• Aggregating or reselling breach data obtained through HunterVault to third parties
• Automated bulk scraping or abuse of the query or monitoring systems beyond your plan limits
• Any activity that violates applicable local, national, or international law
• Querying passwords or credentials without a legitimate, authorised reason (password queries are logged in full)
• Querying government or military domains without proper authorisation

Violation of this section may result in immediate account suspension and, where legally required, reporting to relevant authorities.

Password Search Acknowledgement: Accessing the password query feature requires explicit acknowledgement on each use. All password search terms are logged in plaintext as part of the platform's audit trail. By submitting a password query, you confirm that you have a legitimate and authorised reason for the search.

3. Account Security & Sessions

Your account is personal and non-transferable. You are responsible for:

• Keeping your registered email address secure and up to date
• Ensuring that one-time access codes (OTPs) are not shared with others
• Logging out of shared or public devices after each session
• Not enabling the "Remember me for 2 weeks" option on shared, public, or untrusted devices — this option places a persistent authentication cookie on the device for up to 14 days
• Notifying HunterLabs immediately of any suspected unauthorised access at contact@hunterlabs.solutions

Session behaviour: Sessions without the "Remember me" option automatically expire after 15 minutes of browser inactivity. A warning modal is displayed 2 minutes before expiry, giving you the opportunity to extend your session. Signing in from a new location or device immediately invalidates any existing session. Only one active session per account is permitted at any time.

HunterLabs is not liable for losses arising from unauthorised use of your account due to your failure to maintain appropriate security practices, including failure to sign out of shared devices.

4. Subscription Plans & Billing

HunterVault is available under tiered subscription plans (Basic, Professional, Enterprise, and invite-only Custom plans). Plan details, including query and monitoring limits, are set by HunterLabs and communicated at the time of account activation.

• Subscription fees are agreed upon at the time of activation and invoiced per the agreed billing cycle
• Plan limits are enforced automatically by the platform; exceeding limits requires a plan upgrade
• HunterLabs reserves the right to modify plan pricing or limits with 30 days' written notice
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis; contact contact@hunterlabs.solutions within 7 days of billing
• Accounts inactive for more than 12 months on a paid plan may be suspended pending renewal

5. Accuracy of Data

HunterVault aggregates data from third-party breach intelligence sources. HunterLabs:

• Does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of breach data returned by external providers
• Is not liable for decisions made based on breach results displayed in HunterVault
• Does not independently verify or curate the data returned by its contracted intelligence network providers

You should treat breach intelligence as one input among many and apply appropriate professional judgement.

6. Intellectual Property

HunterVault and all associated software, design, trademarks, and documentation are the exclusive property of HunterLabs Solutions, Inc. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from any part of the platform without express written permission.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

HunterVault is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. HunterLabs does not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from security vulnerabilities.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, HunterLabs Solutions, Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business interruption, arising from your use of or inability to use HunterVault, even if HunterLabs has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of HunterVault shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to HunterLabs in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

9. Suspension & Termination

HunterLabs reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to HunterVault at any time, with or without notice, if:

• You breach these Terms
• Your use creates legal or regulatory risk for HunterLabs
• Your account subscription has expired and has not been renewed within the applicable grace period
• Your account is found to be engaged in prohibited or abusive activity
• We discontinue the service

Upon account expiry, breach monitoring is automatically paused and your account is locked. Monitored assets and breach results remain accessible for 30 days after account deletion to allow data export upon request.

Upon termination, your right to access HunterVault ceases immediately. Sections 5, 6, 7, 8, and 10 survive termination.

10. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to binding arbitration or the jurisdiction agreed upon in your service agreement with HunterLabs.

11. API Access

Enterprise and Custom plan subscribers may be granted access to the HunterVault API. If you use the API:

• Your API key is a credential — treat it with the same care as a password. Do not embed it in publicly accessible code or share it with third parties
• API access is subject to the same usage restrictions and rate limits as the web interface
• Automated querying must respect your plan's daily query limits; attempting to circumvent rate limits is a violation of these Terms
• HunterLabs may revoke API access at any time if misuse is detected
• All API queries are logged and subject to audit in the same manner as web queries

12. Changes to These Terms

HunterLabs may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-platform notification at least 14 days before changes take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
